• See It: The can has to be correctly visually aligned to open and close. Three ridges on the lid and two on the body have to be lined up, preventing accidental access by children.
• Hear It: As the lid is turned, a click sound is produced. The clicking stops when the correct alignment is achieved, giving an audible signal to the user that the lid can be removed.
• Feel It: A knurled texture on the can produces a vibration as the lid is turned. Users will also feel a resistance when the lid has been turned fully.
