Origin Ltd placed on CMO’s Approved Supplier List following audit success
Certification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard makes for simple auditing, as proved by a regional CMO this month.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
The audit carried out by the pharmaceutical manufacturer resulted with Origin been placed on their Approved Supplier List for specific bottles and bottle closures. The CMO auditor was satisfied that Origin meets the EN ISO 9001:2008 requirements and also gave us some encouraging feedback.
They said: “I would like to inform you that overall I found the facility to be well-presented, clean and tidy. It was clear to me that you have had well-informed and knowledgeable staff, who were able to answer any questions I had. It was also demonstrated throughout the visit that you have systems and controls in place that are satisfactory”.
The auditor was particularly impressed by our openess and the access given to documents and reports.
